▎에센셜오일 소개
트루 라벤더는 [리얼 라벤더] 또는 하이랜드 라벤더라고도 합니다. 매년 5월에 꽃이 피는데 평균 해발고가 약 800미터 이상이된 곳에서 자랍니다. 가뭄에 견디어 보라색 꽃이삭이 피며 명칭은 라틴어"Lavare"에서 기원한 것으로 "세탁"의 뜻이 있습니다. 고대 로마시대에 사람들은 라벤더로 목욕을 하여 영혼과 몸을 깨끗하게 할수 있다고 믿었습니다.
원산지는 지중해 연안으로 로마인을 빌려 제국의 판도를 넓힌 뒤 점차 영국과 유럽 북부에 퍼져 2천여년동안 의료와 식용으로 널리 활용돼 현재 유럽 전통 의료법 및 방향요법의 주요식물중 하나로 되였습니다. 많이 알려진 라벤더 (Lanvender) 는 18세기에 줄곧"espic"으로 불리웠고 프로방스에서는 라벤더가"epi"로 불리웠으며 로마, 그리스인들은 라벤더로 병실 및 수용소를"정화"및"청결" 했습니다.
현재 발견된 라벤더 품종은 20종이 넘고 100종이 넘는 교잡품이 있지만 방향요법 응용에서 가장 통용되는것은 여전히 True Lavender에센셜 오일입니다. 풍부한 에스테로겐 유자작용의 구조는 상당히 온화하고 안전성이 높으며 각 년령층에 적용되듯이 트루 라벤더라는 모두 부드럽게 힘을 가해 줄수 있습니다.

주요 성분은 리나일 아세테이트, 테르펜 에스테르, 초산게라닐이고 그외에 리나룰, 테르피넨, 리모넨, 캄펜, ß-카리오필렌, 산화물, 알데히드, 쿠마린, 락톤등 다양한 미량의 성분도 있습니다.
